We are providers in speech and occupational therapy! We have licensed clinicians in speech therapy and occupational therapy who can complete evaluations.

Speech and occupational evaluations may address habilitative or rehabilitative needs.

Habilitative speech needs are based on pediatric or developmental delays. We address articulation, language development, fluency, voice, and social skills.

Occupational therapy evaluations address fine motor, finger and grip strength for opening or closing bags or bottles, sensory integration, and strengthening to achieve activities of daily living. These skills may involve use of zippers, buttons, scissors, or use of writing utensils.

Rehabilitative needs involve the rehabilitation or restoration of function that was previously acquired but has since been lost. Loss of function can result from many factors including brain injury, stroke, trauma, nerve damage, or even the aging body.

We focus on communication whether it is speaking them out loud or using a device.

Our speech therapy services address:

-early language development

-phonological speech disorders

-social communication

If your child is nonspeaking and may benefit from an augmentative-alternative communication (AAC) device, our clinicians are trained to help you acquire one and implement it in therapy.

After completion of a comprehensive evaluation, individualized therapy sessions are tailored to your needs.

Neuro speech therapy is related to changes to recovering speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills after a brain based incident has occurred. These can be as a result of stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s, and/or traumatic brain inuries.

Therapy may address:

-Speech sound production and intelligibility

-Following directions

-Asking or answering questions

-Vocabulary

-Medication management

-Word finding

-Safe swallow function

Here at Kinetic Speech Services, our clinicians are trained in the SPEAK OUT! Program through the Parkinson Voice Project located in Richardson, TX.

We use a structured program that focuses on increasing voice loudness, speaking with intent, confidence, and not only restoring your voice qualities but maintaining it once you complete the program.
